I love it!! I am staying at the trop in two weeks in a paradise suite. Snagged it for only 80 a night Friday and Saturday!

I think I just gasped a little... I really really want to stay here now. Even the basic rooms are beautiful, and that Penthouse Loft... I wish I had 15-foot ceilings so I could have those lamps in my house. After I looked at the Trop site, I think for once I'd be happy to pay a resort fee... 2-for-1 cocktails included, I kind of like that idea!

These rooms look amazing, as long as they keep the price nice and low for a few months while they work out the other kinks in the building, they can raise them up to MGM Grand Levels in no time. The Trop is no longer the black eye of the South Strip...hooters doesn't count for anything

I can say I'm tempted and I haven't paid for a room in a couple years in Vegas. I just did a search for my November trip and am seriously tempted to book. How long is the code going to last? Just curious, after all I'm still hoping for one of the contest wins.

Ahh! The rooms look great! But they look just like every beach resort thats near my house. I'd still stay here though, just because it's Tropicana. And it's dank , and I love it.

Hi Friends,
I'm from germany (sorry for my bad english ;-) and I decided to switch from the ph towers by westgate and visit Tropicana in October because of the beautiful new rooms. Hopefully I booked one.

If not I apply to the tropicana team to win a stay or even this pool thing ;-)

I'm looking forward for october

These rooms are going to be a fantastic success. This is the perfect spot for the young, hip crowd. I think the room rates are going to be reasonable because of the name on the front of the hotel (similar to the Flamingo GO rooms.) The rooms are gorgeous and the location is awesome.

Can we not get the monorail extended to the Trop and then on to the airport? I think that would actually save that thing.

P.S. If you can't be closing in the Penthouse loft, "Put that f*cking coffee down."

Man, I'm so glad to see the Trop rising up the chains in vegas. Ive stayed there through the good times and the bad, and its going to be great knowing that a classic vegas joint is still doing great. I was scared for a while it might get bought and imploded after the Stardust, but It goes to show that hard work does indeed pay off. Cant wait to stay here again.

is the free Wifi included in the resort fee, like all the hotels that surround it?

damn those are some cool ass looking rooms.

Hotels across the country need to take note of how the Trop has gone about changing its image through attractive photography and clever marketing. While most people still have a negative perception of the property just on the name, anyone who sees the pictures cannot help but be impressed. The natural lighting in the photos, the somehow bold *and* neutral colors, everything translates into a living space that people are drawn to.

I don't know who designed the new decor, but Tropicana definitely got their money's worth.

The new rooms look great! All the Trop needs now are a few great nightclubs.

Please let this start a trend. I would love to see the Sahara stay and just refurb, not be rebuilt into a new MB, but something...nice. I wish the Stardust did this 5 years ago.
I would love a future strip that contained both New and Old co-habitating peacefully.
