Rio Uses VT To Fight Dirty
Ugh. When will this stop?
Shortly after we broke the news that Wynn would be implementing a resort fee, Caesars Palace was quick to throw a bitchslap at their bronzed neighbors up the street. Now Rio has gotten into the game with their Facebook account. You have to log in to see it, but don't worry - we've gone ahead and taken the screen shot for you.

I don't know what peeves me more. Is it the fact that they wouldn't call the resort out by name and instead linked to our article to do the dirty work? Is it their fans that actually swallow this tripe? Or is it the fact that Harrah's pretends to be fair and honest when they are, in actuality, most deceiving in the numbers game.
Look, I hate resort fees as much as the next guy, but it looks downright foolish when any Harrah's property uses this as leverage to compete with the top of the market. Lest we forget, Harrah's is the company with the worst overall blackjack odds in Las Vegas and downright insults players with $25 6:5 tables, has the worst video poker pay tables, pretty much rolls out the red carpet to your dollar slot playing grandma before signing off a buffet comp for your purple chip play, and has the audacity to charge $120 per dead-of-summer midweek night for a room built in 1966.
The average tourist is enticed by Harrahs' waiving of the resort fee free flag without considering how much worse they're getting screwed once they've stepped inside. I'd be much quicker to pay a resort fee at a resort that hasn't gutted its blackjack rules than sit at a table game in any Harrah's property.

Mike owns Harrahs...again
Look at it this way, Harrah's just linked about 10,000 people to the site, not bad for free advertising.
Yes, free advertising, butbutbutbutbutbu-- They knocked the Wynn.
The precious, precious Wynn...
"The Wynn" Min? Amateur...
And now P-Ho is getting in on the game:

So what's next? Paris knocking on Mandarin because they charge for valet parking?
I am in favor of anything that further exposes the insidious practice of imposed resort fees.
I came up with "Vdariarmoneer Orienystals" before anyone else. Imagine how disappointed I was when I found out they were just going to call it, "City Center".
They knocked Wynn, yeah.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say why I prefer Wynn: 1) they build rooms according to fire code, 2) they build a superior product, not just acquire it with their parent company's credit card, and 3) every dime that I've ever spent there has been money well-spent.
I am no Wynn fanboy either. There just isn't a single Harrah's property that even comes close.
And from Rio, the spent condom of Harrah's properties? Please.
