A San Jose woman who allegedly left her 5-year-old daughter unattended in her car while she gambled at an Indian casino had her bail increased to $175,000, the Placer County Sheriff's Office announced today.

Christine Ann Medina, 44, was arrested Tuesday morning at the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, north of Sacramento, and initially held on $25,000 bail. Her bail was increased late Tuesday afternoon, according to the sheriff's office.

According to investigators, Medina arrived at the casino at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday and left her daughter in the back seat of her car for approximately five hours while she gambled in the casino. A passerby spotted the girl crying in the car at 6:30 a.m. and called casino security
