All the Michelin stars in the world don't count if the Chef who earned them isn't in the kitchen. For the first time since the opening weeks of Twist at Mandarin Oriental, Chef Pierre Gagnaire will be back in the kitchen serving a new menu which he calls "Homage to the American Product" from May 4-9th, 2010.

Here's the menu:

Twist Menu May 2010

Chef Gagniare's four course tasting menu will set you back a mere $285. Don't wait, reserve now.

Download the full menu, including sourcing of ingredients.

Big thanks to VT reader Kagetokiri for the tip.

Comments & Discussion:

correction - he leaves the 8th, and seems to be at uncorked on the 7th and 8th

no idea why the special 5 course is $285. you can always order a la carte. presumably the regular $185 6 course is not available while he is there.
