Speaking of Julian Serrano, it has come to our attention that Saturday, March 27th, 2010 is "National Spanish Paella Day" - not to be confused with National Norwegian Paella Day which is in January.

Serrano will be celebrating the event in fine style all day, and not only via serving their award winning signature paella, but by giving away one free glass of Sangria for all paella ordering guests. Between this and the other great mixology on the menu this is great way to get your drink on while whiling away the 35 minute preparation time.

Paella's include:

Valenciana : chicken, rabbit, chorizo, vegetables and saffron rice ($40)
Marinera : calamari, shrimp, mussels, monkfish, vegetables, saffron rice ($50)

Mix Paella : lobster, chicken, chorizo, vegetables, saffron rice ($50)

Fideua Marinera : calamari, chrimp, mussels, monkfish, vegetables, saffron fideua pasta ($45)

Rosellat : shrimp, rock-fish, angel hair pasta, paella pan style ($40)

Ya ya ya yao!
