Wayne F. Newton : 19 Times Before He Goes
The Tropicana has announced that Wayne Fucking Newton's run of shows, titled "Once More Before I Go" will be closing in April.
The final date that tickets are being sold via TropLV.com and Ticketbastard is Saturday April 24th, 2010.

Let the countdown begin. As of today, Wednesday March 24th, 2010, Wayne has 19 more shows to perform before the run at the Trop ends. The question is, will Wayne actually make good on his Rush Limbaugh like threats to leave the country and move to Costa Rica assertions that he will hang up his banjo and stop spray dying his hair helmet?
The answer is... drum rolleth please... no. Ticketbastard has two post-Trop dates listed for Wayne, at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts in San Bernardino, CA and the IP Biloxi.
Remember that the queen of fake retiring, Cher, ended her fourth bout of retirement flu to play at Caesars Palace. Could it be that Wayne will begin his retirement by not playing ever again in Vegas?
Naaah. Much like Wynn design honcho Roger Thomas, Wayne Newton can't retire because he can't afford to. Wayne Newton is like crabgrass, roaches, fleas, and Pearl Jam CD's... no matter how many times you carpet bomb, they always fucking return.
Place your bets folks, where is Wayne gonna end up next?

Comments & Discussion:
My thinking is Las Vegas Hilton. Since Star Trek and Barry Manilow are gone, they need some reason to get people in the doors...
I would go with the Hilton as well or maybe even the Imperial Palace or the Golden Nugget.
