The Borg Assimilates Planet Hollywood

Effective tomorrow at noon, The Borg* will officially take over casino operations at Planet Hollywood, assimilating it completely into its own.

Whatever could be next?

The Las Vegas Sun repeats the Nevada Gaming Commission's question "is Harrah's getting too big for the Las Vegas market?"

Perhaps someone should ask the NGC if they know a seven letter word that means "obvious", first letter is an "O" third letter is a "V" and the last three letters are "O" "U" and "S". Anyone anyone? Bueller?

More on the assimilation from the brand new shitty RJ website.

* Thx to MinVegas for letting us steal his Harrah's/Borg joke (without asking.)

Dammit, you know a Star Trek metaphor always brings a tear to me eye...

My Vegas Seven story that should have run last week had this exact analogy. I guess great minds think alike. The story is going to appear in next week's issue, and is about the bigger trend of bigger casino companies assimilating smaller ones.
