Wynn Addresses Issue of Sobering Walk
Nobody likes to be not drunk in Vegas. We like to slur our words and speak in double negatives like that last sentence I just wrote.
And that's why I've always enjoyed myself at Mandalay, can't get enough of Mirage, had a great time while at Aria, and am in mad love with Encore. Hell, even Luxor's casino level has gained points in my book. Why? If ever I should string a coherent sentence, I can find an attractive, inviting bar within feet of me while standing almost anywhere in these casinos.

But then there's Wynn Las Vegas where outside of Parasol Up/Down, there really isn't a nice, comfortable spot to grab a drink, sink in a sofa, and take in the atmosphere while people watching (unless you never tire of being hooker prey at B Bar). This is especially true as you walk away from the casino towards the golf course. Leave your martini at slot machine and you'll be sober before you reach the Country Club for dinner.
Thankfully, Wynn addressed this dire issue by announcing the opening of a new wine bar adjacent to their Terrace Pointe Cafe. Now, if they'll only convert that failed Taste of Wynn space into a scotch bar, then they'll have all their corners (literally) covered.

Goodbye P.Ho, Hello P.Har

Ummmmm, Scotch bar........
Although I still haven't been to Encore, Wynn has been lacking in comfortable bars since it opened. I don't get it, considering that Steve Wynn built Bellagio with its Petrossian and Baccarat Bar. There's nothing finer than sipping a cognac and people watching at Petrossian.
detroit, maybe 5-7 years ago this was true, but nowadays Petrosian is worn and torn like all the eateries in Paris' Roux de la Paix.
Hmm. Part of my comment disappeared, not that it was important.
"Petrossian is worn and torn".
Oh, great, I'm living in the past again.
I can never get into wine. I tried it more than once. But it takes about a 1/2 a bottle of red wine to get me drunk.
Why drink wine when there's perfectly good bottles of Jager out there just waiting to be drank? Maybe it's because I'm not exactly high class...maybe its because I descend from Germany....who knows. I can't casually drink...I think that's my problem.
