ARIA Casino Chips and More Gambling Goodies
I've been having some problems accessing VT today through the Vdara firewall, hence the lack of posts. Here. Of course AriaOpening.com is the place to go for the live stream.
I made it a point today to take photos of a lot of stuff that we won't be able to take photos of after Aria actually opens in 7 hours - casino stuff!

Today all the racks were filled with live chips and checks.

I didn't see any other Viva Elvis chips other than the $25 denomination. Hunter and I discussed the typography on these chips and we both agreed that we liked this font better than Bank Gothic.

This is the full rack inside one of the super high roller gaming salons.

And here are the chips by the roulette table photographed yesterday. Grand total: $3.48 Million bucks. Yikes!

Dr. Dave noticed that this very same table is a single zero.

And the Blackjack Table says 2 to 1, not 6 to 5.
Yeah, but that's 2 to 1 for insurance, which is normal. It says nothing of what the odds for a blackjack are.
That blackjack table looks like the dealer stands on all 17s. I saw a picture of another table at Aria which said that the dealer must hit all 17s, so there'll be a mix.
Any one know what the limits are going to be at Aria? I'm guessing $15 and up for most games? Probably $25 minimum for that single zero roulette table?
Found a full review of Aria's blackjack table limits and rules. Looks like we've got a mix of h17 and s17. There's a great breakdown of it all at www.BlackjackClassroom.com/articles/aria-casino-blackjack-rules-and-review/
Looks like double deck with s17 is the way to go!
