Crackpots Bid $350M on Fontainebleau

The Miami Herald is reporting that Las Vegas based corporation, Craig Road Development Corp. has submitted a $350M "bid" on the shuttered Fontainebleau project.

Craig Road Development's website touts numerous plans for Las Vegas casinos targeted at current and former members of the U.S. Military, Police Departments and Firemen.

A previous version of their proposed Heroes Las Vegas resort - including architectural renderings by noted architectural firm Bergmann, Walls and Associates was targeted for the land just north of McCarran Airport on Tropicana.

The previous location (above) used to be a trailer park. This is what they were planning on building.

I wonder how much it costs to get Bergmann, Walls and Associates to draw up a hotel rendering concept. Xmas is coming, y'know.

Craig Road Development Corp. also states in the above linked proposal that they'll need an additional $1.2B to buy the Las Vegas Hilton and another $850M to buy another off strip resort (maybe Hard Rock?) so they can provide enough accommodations for all the heroes they are expecting to visit.

More from the Miami Herald and the Las Vegas Sun.

Is this guy someway related to the late Bob Stupek? Sounds like they both went to the same fantasy marketing school.

A casino property in bankruptcy that was being built by a company with zero casino experience (and zero hotel experience outside of Florida) being bid on by a unknown company with zero casino or hotel experience whose corporate status in Nevada is currently in default doesn't exactly exude confidence.

I'm wondering if someone (i.e. a Fontainebleau creditor) put this guy up to this bid in order to squeeze a little more money out of its' sale.

Designer handbags seems to be the must-have nowadays and you can see they are stay around the arms if girls in the whole world. Who would like to spend thousands of dollars on a handbag if he can get it with $300? The best thing is that no one could find out it being a replica one. These replica pieces are made with refine craftsmanship and expertise. They come with very right price tags which any bag lover can afford.
