Las Vegas has a history of destroying its history. But this weekend, kids and adults alike will get to travel back in time to get a different view of the lights and neon of our city. On Saturday, the Lied Children's Museum debuts "Neon Unplugged" -- a temporary exhibit.

"What we can teach here is starting to learn and understand respect for your own history, where you live. And learning how to preserve it."

The exhibit opens tomorrow at the Lied museum -- where it will stay for one year. Eventually it will be moved to the new permanent collection.
