ARIA Price Watch : Deluxe Room Rates Drop!

We've been tracking the fluctuation in room rates for the first three days of ARIA's opening - December 17,18,19 2009 - since late May. After seeing zero changes in room rates since they were last adjusted (July 15th), I decided to pull the trigger on our reservations for fear that A) shit might sell out for opening night and B) the curve had hit bottom and price was going to start trending upwards as most of the other hotels are starting to do.

Wrong and Wrong.

ARIA's entry level offerings the Deluxe and Deluxe City View rooms both had their prices reduced by $20 per night.

All the other room offerings are holding steady at previous rates. Some of the rooms - the 1 bedroom Penthouse and the ARIA Suite are no longer listed in the price availability listing, which probably means that they are now booked.

If I had one wish, it would be to see those electrifyingly fabulous Corner Suites drop down to something a bit more friendly to those of us who have bills to pay.

Here is the updated table, with price decreases are noted in green

And yet, not dropping enough. If the deluxe rates stay at that level then I would consider taking a shot at staying there but if I can get a cheaper deluxe room anywhere on the Strip then I would take the lower rates in a heartbeat.

but its a brand shiny new hotel with mattresses nobody has fucked on!

Why, Thank You Chuck. I'll call now, and have them lower my rate.

Has anyone received any public, Player's Club, or VIP offers yet for any of the CC properties? I wouldn't expect these online rates to change much more, but we should start seeing $109-129 specials for Jan/Feb.

FYI, I recently got an offer for 30% off Hotel32 rates, but they are still over $200. It will be interesting to see if they hold up over the next 6 months.

I have some concerns about how much of CC will actually be open in Dec, so have decided to wait until late Feb or March. I stayed at Palazzo to soon and many of the restaraunts, pool, spa and stores weren't open yet. Encore was an exception with just about everything open from day 1.

Parched, while I haven't received a direct promotion, I have been offered casino rate. Back when it was $179, they offered me $139.

I called Aria to make a reservation for January and was offered casino rate of $139 a night. The players club rep told me that players club offers should start coming out mid-november
