TravelWorm.com Files Bankruptcy
TravelWorm.com, a Vegas-centric hotel booking engine, has declared bankruptcy after being sued by a slew of Vegas hotels for nonpayment of revenue.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, TravelWorm has been booking rooms for many of Las Vegas hotels but never sent the hotels payments submitted by tourists like us. According to bankruptcy filings hotels are owed between $1 and $10 million smackers.
Gulp.
The big losers are Casino Royale ($109k), Edgewater Laughlin ($96k), The Plaza ($96k) and Hooters ($95k).
If you have currently booked a trip through TravelWorm, there's a reasonably good chance that your hotel reservation might not be transferred to the hotel, or even honored by the hotel. Your best bet is to contact the hotel you've booked directly to see if your reservation has entered their system OR make other arrangements.
If you have had any issue - good or bad - using TravelWorm in the past, please share it in the comments thingy below.

Comments & Discussion:
Up until now I have always used travel worm to book hotels in Laughlin and Las Vegas. I've never had any problems with my rooms. My most recent was two rooms in Monterey, CA and I got a great rate on both. I am very disappointed to hear this news about Travel Worm.
