Is Blackjack "Switch" Beatable?

Blackjack "switch" has been slowly creeping up in popularity throughout Las Vegas. When Bill's was once the nicest casino to host the game, now even Wynn and Encore have joined the bandwagon. And with a house edge as low as .16%, low minimums, and an overall slower game play, this is definitely great news for the gambling consumer. I won't get into details and strategy here, but as always, the Wizard has you covered.

What I'm curious about is beating the house. If you value your comps, perfect strategy makes the game advantageous to you, but what about increasing your shot at actually making money? Now, as most of you know, card counting is simply trying to predict when the remainder of a shoe is ten and ace rich to take advantage of 3:2 blackjack payouts. This, of course, is useless when blackjacks only pay even money as they do in "switch". But what about a reverse count? Is it possible that a deck richer in smaller card values offers potentially more lucrative switching options? Getting dealt a 5Q and a K6 happens more often when the tally is "negative" in conventional counting, but it's a hell of a hand in "switch" as it turns into a double-downable 11 on one end and a 20 on another.
