You've all probably read about my recent exploits at Harrah's Rincon. Today I received my first mailer from them with the usual coupons and announcements. It even included a tiny bit of unintentional comedy.

Check out these winners. Do any of them seem familiar to you?

Alan M? THE Alan Mendelson?! Mr. "Best Buy" himself with local shows on KTLA 5 and KCAL 9?!

Sure, you won $35,945, but you've been caught red-handed. I would assume that the dude moderately famous for giving financial advice and seeking out the best deals for the daytime television People's Court crowd would be smart enough to stay away from money sucking slot machines.

But wait! There's more! Check out the next page.

Newsflash: Derek N. and George G. aren't smiling at all and Sharon B. doesn't appear to be wrapped up in joyful jackpot hysterics either.

Ellen C. kinda looks like man, is it just me or do all these pictures look like they were taken about 10 years ago?

Do you have to sign something before they hand over the cash that requires your photo being taken and displayed on promotional material for the next 20 years?

I've always figured slot players to be the more attractive of all gamers.

it was a video poker progressive, not "slots."
