The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that Steve Wynn and Wynn Resorts COO Mark Shorr took a tour of Fontainebleau this week, presumably kicking the tires of the financially distressed resort in advance of a possible sale and/or investment.

Harrah's honchos toured the joint two weeks ago.

Wynntainebleau? Wynnbleau? Fontcore? Encbleau? Enfontcorebleautainewynn

Steverino - buy it. Now.

Yes Mr. Wynn...please buy it....please....

Would he really want something he didn't build, though? He hasn't done that since the Nugget. I think at this point he's probably just doing it to drive the price up for whoever else wants it. Or just fucking around because he can, like with the Bellagio talk a coupel months ago.

He's already having trouble getting enough warm bodies inside of Encore, I doubt he'd want to invest in anything that's in an even farther no-man's land like Fontainebleau.

Also I like the name Fucktor if he does buy it, which doesn't make sense, but it sounds like a perverted villain from Masters of the Universe.

I'd give Wynn Resorts the best odds for either investing in Fontainebleau or outright buying the joint. Harrah's might be snooping around, but considering the state of Harrah's, they're lookie loos IMHO.

I would like to see Boyd buy the F'bleu and rename it to the New Stardust. It is still not too late to change out some of the glass panels to have the same color strips as the Stardust's old large tower. Then when the time is right, Boyd can go ahead and finish Echelon.

I thought that you were going to say that "when the times comes, they can blow it up!"

I wonder what happened to all of that glass that they removed from the Stardust before the nuked it...recycled in a 4th-rate casino somewhere, like the old room furnishings?

@dave they did recycle the glass, presumably melted and turned into cocktail glasses.
