The Las Vegas Hilton has finally announced that Cheap Trick will be performing the Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club' album live, with symphony orchestra for a string of nine shows in September (13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, & 23).

Our friends at Daily Fiasco uploaded video of the press conference to the YouTube:

One point of correction, guitarist Rick Nielsen states in the press conference that "the Beatles never played here," which is incorrect. The Beatles played two shows in Las Vegas on August 20, 1964 at the Convention Center.

Tickets for the shows go on sale THIS Saturday June 13th, on lvhilton.com and ticketmaster.com.
