VegasTripping In The New York Times
Not but two days after I super poked the New York Times for making the obvious Caesar's Palace blunder, they go and quote us in this weeks Travel section. Boy do I feel like a jerk now. Again. *SIGH*.
I grew up in New York. The New York Times is my hometown newspaper. To me, it is the only newspaper worth reading from stem to stern (other than the Daily Racing Form on race day). To say that I'm tickled black and white and read all over that our humble little website has been quoted in its pages is indubitably the understatement of this, last, and all previous centuries (except the 1100's of course.)
I'd like to thank my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Weiner (as in ween-ur, seriously!), Mrs. Goldstein, Mrs. Berkman, and Mr. DeBenedictis, respectively, for making all of this possible.
I tore the page out of the website in case you want to read it:

In case you were wondering, Imperial Palace All Inclusive Deals - Worth It? is the post they are referring to in the piece.

That's awesome Chuck! Congrats. Will be interesting to see if this has any effect on traffic to the site.
Don't feel bad about chiding them for their Caesar's Palace gaffe; it probably helped get the site mentioned.
Congrats. I know the first time this happened to me I had to go grab a few copies (hi Mom!)
Wow, congrats. Not bad for a dedicated tourist!
Congrats! That's so great! Given the lead time for the Travel section, I'm sure your needling and your mention were unrelated, but I wouldn't feel badly about it. You want awkward, there was this time that I had to work on a piece with ex-NYT scribe Gary Rivlin immediately after I excoriated him for a error-riddled piece on Steve Wynn. He didn't realize I had done so, however, until we were already working together for a day or so. AWKWARD! But, anyhow, I'm thrilled that a blog like this is being seen by travel writers over there. They've come a long way since the days when the best they could do in writing about Vegas new media was the Living In LV podcast...
hells yeah!! props
