Scratch That. Deals Are Back at Flamingo, Paris, Ballys

MGM Mirage and Phil's Gambling Hall and Sea Hag Show may be raising hotel rates, but the propeller heads at Harrah's Entertainment are doing the exact opposite at the Flaming-O, Paris and Ballys.

Flamingo is offering room rates starting at an astonishing $35/nt, which might very well be the deal of the century if their incredibly freaky Go Rooms are up for the offing. Promo code for this offer is PFLTA.

Paris & Ballys 72 Hour Sale

Ballys is giving away rooms for a paltry $45 and up (mostly mid-week). Do yourself a favor and try to wrangle an upgrade to their pimptacular spa rooms. They're kinda like the IP Luv Tub - on a ledge in the room, not tucked away into the bathroom somewhere. They've also got a steam shower option which works wonders if you've got a touch of the congestion or *cough* smoke too much, primary or secondary. Promo code for this'n is IB72H.

Paris has given up the baguettes with room rates starting at $55 (again, mostly mid-week). We're told that Paris reservation operators will give you further discount if you say "Voulez vous couche rouge avec moi" when booking your reservation. (Not true) It certainly can't hurt by offering to get into the spirit of things in advance. Oh and that translates to 'would you like to go to the red bed with me.' Smart operators will know that you are requesting one of their spiffy new Red Rooms, which VT staff has yet to have the pleasure of. Promo code for Paris is : IP72H.

Don't wait, the Paris & Ballys deals expire in the next 48 hours or so (it is a 72 hour sale).

Comments & Discussion:

BIG WARNING to anyone booking a room at the Treasure Island. Be sure to read the fine print before doing the final booking online. Their cancellation policy is that the deposit charged to your credit card is NON-refundable, no matter how far in advance you cancel a reservation.

Other hotels have increased the leadtime you need to cancel in order to avoid paying a one night penalty. Some now require two days notice, where it was common industry practice in Vegas to only require one day notice.

Hey. I think we're ALL winners here. /squeeze
