Michael Chau, 34, who worked at Trump Taj Mahal (Atlantic City), pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Friday to using the telephone to promote prostitution. He faces up to five years prison when he is sentenced.

Authorities said Chau was part of a prostitution ring that recruited young Asian women and sold their services to casino high rollers. Four other casino employees and two other men were also arrested and charged in March.

Authorities said the ring enlisted women from Malaysia and other Far East nations from September 2002 to September 2003 to work as prostitutes and put them to work in brothels and several Atlantic City casinos, charging $200 or more per session to gamblers who obtained their services through the casinos' employees.
