Imperial Palace All Inclusive Deals - Worth it?
The Imperial Palace has just spammed us two deals for Vegas low rollers - $27/night (offer code: PIBEP) and an All-Inclusive Vacation Package starting at $95/nt for one person $135/nt for double occupancy.
Of course, this raises two questions:
1) Is it possible to eat all of your meals in Las Vegas at Imperial Palace and not get sick of eating there?
Reading the fine print reveals that unlimited dining is only available at the Emperor's Buffet (all you can gorge) and the Teahouse (one appetizer, entree and dessert per person per visit.) Room service is not included. Drinks are unlimited at all of the casino bars (not Rockhouse) and served one per customer, plus they will cut you off if yer smashed. Unless you want to pay for it.
2) Is this really a good deal?
Considering you can get a room for $27 from the other offer, that means you will have to eat/drink your way through $58 of stuff per day and must return to the IP to fully take advantage of the deal.
Breakfast buffet : $10
Lunch buffet: $12
Dinner at Teahouse: $18
Ten drinks @ $3/ea : $30
Dining/Drinking Subtotal: $70
Room Subtotal: $27
Total: $97
If you have no qualms about dining and drinking at the IP for two days straight this is a pretty good deal. The key to the bargain is securing the $27/night room rate. A cursory check of Kayak.com shows rates at $50/nt.

Comments & Discussion:
That is a really good deal. I think I would just go just for the included drinks. The drinks at IP are pretty stiff.
As far as the food goes.........I'll pass. I've heard nothing but horror stories about that buffet (is the food as dirty as the carpet?) Everytime I think about the IP buffet all I see is Clark and Eddie in the Klondike buffet.....::bleh::
I have been a victim of the IP buffet and would not return there unless I had a gun to my head and maybe not even then. I did the Legends show with buffet thrown in or is that thrown up. The show was great, really great and the gambling floor is fun. Drinks are a bit steep but the impersonators do add a bit of value to the experience. I think the IP recruits their waitresses and dealers from the hostess pool at United Airlines....The Golden Girls of the Air.
