Jell-O CityCenter
I've been thinking lately that I'd like to build a megaresort, CityCenter to be exact, and build it out of Jell-O.
Of course this won't be any fun unless we add some rules:
1) Construction must be completed in one phase, and launched simultaneously.
2) The building must be structurally sound and able to stand without support aids at room temperature.
3) The project budget is $90.70, if it goes over, we'll have to find some investors to help us finish it. Receipts will be posted for transparency.
4) It's going to be one color/flavor, environment green.
5) It must be completed before CityCenter/ARIA opens on December 16th, 2009.
6) Wagering on the projects viability and completion is permitted and encouraged.
Renderings and progress on construction will be posted to a website - www.Jell-OVegasTodayAndTomorrow.com.
When completed, Jell-O CityCenter will be eaten in one sitting live via webcast and covered as-it-happens via Twitter, whatever isn't eaten will be recycled.

7. For it to truly be Vegas, it has to be spiked with booze....
^^ Amendment approved, but we'll have to increase the budget.
Seriously, do this. LoL
I always thought it would be cool to make a building out of LEGOS. That way if you wanted to add a room/remove a room you can with just a unsnap, unsnap, snap, snap. Done and done.
The crews building the Harmon WISH they could unsnap, unsnap, resnap their big OOPS on the concrete rebar
i think there's a hotel in Tokyo that has moveable "pod" units that can be interchanged and reconstructed. Discovery channel once ran a program about how japan has had to create some really interesting buildings due to the lack of available land.
Two words from the immortal John Belushi, "food fight."
The "lego" idea can be accomplished to an extent using shipping containers.
"....whatever isn't eaten will be recycled."
To be fair, whatever IS eaten will also be recycled, albeit in a different way.
