Starship Joins Terry Fator's Fatwa Against Taste
I just got an email from VT reader Dave, who happened to take in Terry Fator's show at the Mirage this evening. He writes:
I attended the Terry Fator show tonight (Friday March 28). Introduced in the audience were Barry "Greg Brady" Williams and Jerry Lewis. Fator admitted to being nervous with Lewis watching.
Now, the kicker.
Near the end, Fator introduced Mickey Thomas (yes from Starship) who came out and sang three songs. The last was "We Built This City". I thought of VegasTripping right away!
It's not every day that one is told : "tonight I heard the worst song ever written performed by the worst performer ever and it reminded me of YOU!!!" Golly Dave, thanks... I guess?
In all seriousness, yes, thanks Dave. We're tickled to have added a smidgen of seasoning to what was probably a half baked evening of entertainment. And thank you for letting us know that Jerry Lewis, Greg Brady and 2008 Trippies winner Starship have joined Terry's Fatwa Against Taste. If only Mickey Thomas had the gonads/brains to change the words to "We Built This City On Bad Debt Load."
And... did you get the stuff?

Comments & Discussion:
I can't believe the Mirage decided to sign such a hokey entertainer as its new headliner. Yeah, he really classes up the joint. Man, I miss my Germans.
