Book Excalibur For Farther's Day

There's a guy who posts on some of the Vegas message boards who goes by The Grammar Nazi. From what I can recall, he's also come here and poked us about poor linguistic usage and periodic misspellings (sah-ree.) I'm compelled to wonder what he might think about this curious email spam from Ye Olde Tragic Kingdom, i.e. Excalibur.

Unless I'm completely mistaken, farther refers to distance - something that is "far-er" than far. By the letter of the word, one could construe that your money will end up farther away from you should you visit Excalibur - an unintended truth. Further, is numerical - an additional amount of time or quantity. Your money should go further* at Excalibur.

Help me Grammar Nazi, you're my only hope!

P.S. At Excalibur, the rate for Farther's Day - June 21, 2009 - is $29/nt.

* Britney Spears look-alike not included.

Hey it could have been worse; they could have said farter.....

Last I checked, a confused combination of four-year olds and housewives running around the casino floor wasn't FUN!

And what part of South Strip aka 55613 miles from Wynncore is LOCATION! Until Aria opens, your location sucks ass.

I can book Monte Carlo for the same price as your widescreen rooms. In 9 months, that'll all change.

I still like the buffet lady with her knife and fork.
It's like she's screaming "OH MY GOD! IT'S A BUFFET! GET READY!"
