Spike TV is extending its brand name to the radio business.

The male-targeted cable channel is teaming up with fellow Viacom company Infinity Radio to rename one of Infinity's Las Vegas stations. Spike 1140 AM: Radio for Men, formerly KSFM-AM, may be just the first Infinity station to share Spike's brand and target demographic.

"We're very excited about extending our brand into radio and hope this venture will lead us to partnerships in other major cities," Spike TV president Albie Hecht said.
