Norm! Bombshell : Encore To Feature Sinatra Restaurant
Today's Norm! is chock full of Encore bombshells the most astonishing is the announcement that the restaurant formerly known as "Theo's" - in theory, at least - will actually be called Sinatra. Steve Wynn has gotten permission from the Sinatra family to display F.S.' Academy award and Grammy Awards.
You now know where I'm bee lining to when I squeeze through Encore's front door at the grand opening. And YOU will see pics seconds after they are taken... (more on this in the coming days).
This is what Mr. Wynn had to say about Sinatra:
It won't be a museum. It will be the most stunning restaurant in the country.
Holy crap!
The last three bits of info... the new Encore tv commercial - wherein Mr Wynn reprises his rooftop shenanigans - will premiere TODAY on the boobtoob. Channel & program are unknown... if you see it, post a comment here or via Twitter.
Lastly, Hunter has been hinting that the new Encore website will drop this week, very possibly today along with the commercial.
You'd think for safety's sake they'd launch it a day or two or three beforehand to ensure that the server won't blow up.
Finally, last night was Danny Gans' last night at Mirage before he moves to Encore... or gets lost on the way (cross your fingers.)
I've got Encore Goosebumps!

Comments & Discussion:
Is it just me or does Steve Wynn remind you of George Zimmer (the dude from the Men's Warehouse).
"Hello I'm Steve Wynn, and this is my hotel. The only one I've EVER put my name on."
"Hello, I'm George Zimmer, owner and CEO of the Men's Warehouse, and you're going to like the way you look, I GUARANTEE it."
For some God awful reason I was thinking about that last night when a whole slew of Men's Warehouse commericals hit my TV.
