Rain To Ruin NYE Fireworks Show?
(Dec. 28) -- The rain has a lot of people nervous and concerned about the impact it may on Friday night's New Year's celebration on the Strip. But what happens if the storm worsens?
Las Vegas is becoming famous for it's New Year's Eve fireworks shows -- the blasts of color in the sky, hundreds of thousands of people down below. Tuesday night, Eyewitness News reporter Brian Allen has learned the weather system that's moving through may shut down the fireworks display.
Once you see it, you know it's special. Fireworks cascading over the Las Vegas Strip, explosions of red, blue and green above hotels and casinos -- art meets architecture and the man in charge knows what's expected.
