September. Summer is over and it's almost the end of the financial quarter. The latter of which probably means little to you, unless you're armed with the knowledge that the casino "win" in Vegas has dropped for 7 months straight and the companies that own them would love to bolster the bottom line before they have to report this dismal news back to their investors. Translation? They've sliced and diced room rates yet again in the hopes of enticing you to come.

Here's the latest slew of deals we've gotten from Travelocity and MGM Mirage. Travelocity is having what they say is "biggest sale ever" and are quoting Monte Carlo ($66), Caesars ($120) and the recently de-Trek'd LV Hilton ($58) as part of the promotion. MGMMirage has tossed the excellent new rooms at TI-Treasure Island into the mix as well starting with a 'steal it while you can' rate of $55/nt rate. Shocking.
