Harrah's Robber Escapes By Hailing A Cab On The Strip

Harrah's Las Vegas' main casino cage got hit by a lone thief on Sunday morning who not only walked out with a pile of loot, but managed to hail a cab as his getaway car. The Las Vegas Metro has published a description in the hopes that someone recognizes the guy, but if they don't have the brains to track down the cab company, finger print the cab and ask the driver and where they dropped the guy off, why should the public do their job for them. Ok, I'm being a little hard on the cops, perhaps I've seen one too many episodes of the Rockford Files or Starsky and Hutch.

The real reason why this guy should get away with it?

Harrah's has been robbing us blind for years, with the last straw (for me) being their truly stupid decision to remove the Wheel of Fortune slots from Ballys and Paris last week, made worse by their 'lie-through-the-teeth-explanation' that Wheelie slots aren't popular with players.

A cocktail waitress busts a slot player from the UK who accidentally passes a fake benjamin while making tip change for a whiskey sour, but they can't catch a guy who hails a taxicab on one of the most congested parts of the strip as a getaway car after robbing the casino cage.
