The Review Journal has posted its periodic "Restaurant Report" which outlines the many demerits and grade changes to area restaurants inflicted by the local headlines. The best part of these listings are often the description of what caused the infractions.

Apparently, the chef wasn't.

Comments & Discussion:
It is obvious that Harrah's must be going after the Nickelodeon watching crowd with all that slime.
One thing you do learn from reading the LVRJ restaurant reports is to stay clear of any Sushi or Chinese buffet that is off the strip, and especially if it is somewhere on Nellis Blvd or Craig Rd. Those places always get really low ratings.
Chuck, you missed it a week or so ago when the new BLT Burger restaurant in The Mirage got a C rating. Even the Riveria's main kitchen got at least a B.
Yeah I saw that about BLT burger... John Curtas at EatingLV.com had a post about it last week in which he says that the C rating was during a pre-opening inspection and the demerits were corrected instantly.
