Viva Station Casino

Coming to an intersection of Tropicana Blvd and I-15 near you - Viva a new resort from Station Casinos, the people who brought you Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock, Boulder Station and Trailer Station.

Make no mistake, Viva isn't a wimpy haul-in construction shack. Nor will it be a locals only video poker 'n early matinee joint. Nor will it be an out of the way luxury hotel with video poker n' early matinees taboot. Viva will be brawny, reaping its bounty on 110 acres of land at a cost of TEN BIIIILION DOLLARS.

Viva will be equal parts Palms and Red Rock but done to the scale of City Center. Be built upon the awful Wild Wild West casino, Viva will include three casinos and possibly ten hotels when the massive project is completed.

Liz Benston has the scoop at the Las Vegas Sun, including some audio clips from her interview with Frank Fertitta, one of Station's bosses.
