Being that we love rock n roll as much as we love Vegas, we can't miss the opportunity to share this YouTube vid of mostly reformed Janes Addiction performing the classic 'The Mountain Song' at the Troubador in LA the other night.

Frankly, they kill it... even if Dave Navarro is a Vegas celebrity ultralounge host weenus.

In case you were wondering, that's Flea from the Chili Peppers on bass.

They look great. And Flea is awesome. But they've never been great at sticking to a melody eh. The lyrics are muddy as well. Sort of rambling. And you really can't hear Flea's bass at all. But they do look fabulous.

perry farrell isn't a great singer in the technical sense. he's more of a vocalizer in the punk/art vein. keep in mind this is a bootleg, probably shot with someones blackberry or mid-grade camera.

Thanks for sharing that. I like the fact that it's not technically enhanced. Live rock is like sex-a lot of times it's really good when it's raw and dirty.
