In a move that is amazingly generous, Circus Circus Reno (which is a helluva lot better than their Vegas counterpoint) is offering free rooms to passengers stuck holding tickets from recently bankrupt Aloha, ATA and Skybus airlines.

If you're looking for a freebie in Reno and are stuck holding the bag, give em a call : 800-648-5010 and ask for code VFREE08.

It is nice of them to do that and some Marketing person was really thinking when they came up with it. After all the hotel gives away free rooms to gamblers, so why not use some of them for a short period of time to gain some good will and lots of publicity by taking care of the stranded airline passengers. And if the passengers just happen to gamble a bit while they are there, or eat in the restaurants, then Circus Circus gets some profits.

Again it was a very good marketing idea and good that someone is thinking out there.
