LAS VEGAS (AP) Monorail administrators said the loss of a bolt from a train during recent testing won't slow progress toward resuming public operations.

A 2-inch-long ventilation unit bolt fell from a train Nov. 28 on the elevated rail near the Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas Monorail spokesman Todd Walker said Thursday.

Walker said engineers have inspected similar bolts on the monorail's nine trains, and testing is continuing toward resuming public operations by the end of the year.
