Vegas Roundtable 3 Posted
I've been remiss in announcing the posting of the last two episodes of the Vegas Roundtable podcasts, of which I'm very proud to be a panelist (even though nearly everything that comes out of my mouth is borderline idiotic.) The panel includes Jeff Simpson (Las Vegas Sun), Dr. Dave Schwartz (UNLV), David McKee (LVA, Stiffs & Georges) and host Hunter Hillegas (RateVegas.com).
The third episode has been posted which includes chit chat about Encore, a bunch of 'gaming business' stuff that baffled me, a short thread about Hooters and a bunch of other topics.
It was definitely an interesting chat, mostly because I get to listen to these smart guys talk about stuff that interests me. I'm obviously the buffoon on the panel, but little by little I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with the format and punditry in general. Organizing concise thoughts into complete sentences in an improvisational situation has never been my strong suit, unless I've got a guitar in my hand, in which case I'd tear the roof off the joint.
All digressions aside, this podcast is great fun to be a part of and after we all get a bit more settled in, could become the Gaming Biz version of 'Crossfire' or 'Meet the Press' . Go download it here or add it to iTunes.

I sound like a geek, but, I think this is one of the best uses of Ipod tehnology. Sharing large amounts of information among a narrow interest group. It's a great program. Thanks to all who participate.
