Midway Games has announced the impending arrival of This is Vegas a first person action game in the vein of Grand Theft Auto and Godfather but with a much darker, more comic-book design.

The description:

When a powerful businessman begins turning Vegas into a family-friendly tourist trap, you must start your own powerful empire and resurrect the famous adult playground. Party hard at the hottest clubs to make VIP connections. Grow your bankroll by hitting high stakes tables. Race the fastest cars on the underground circuit to raise your reputation. Fight off enemies with fists and firearms to prove your strength. Where you go and what you do is your call whether counting cards, seducing dangerous women, cruising the strip or starting bar brawls, you must put the sin back in sin city.

Circus Circus aka The Big Top

Looks like Rain night club. Check out the chick flashing her boobs on the right... awesome! I'd swear that the guy on the left with the hat and the glowing necklace is Criss Angel.

That's a pretty grim looking casino.

Here's a video from IGN too... it takes an eternity to load though.

This is Vegas will be available for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 this winter.
