Iconic warbler and former squeeze of Warren Beatty, Sonny Bono, Gregg Allman, David Geffen, Gene Simmons, Les Dudek, Eric Stoltz, Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, Rob Camiletti, Josh Donen, Richie Sambora, Eric Clapton, Mark Hudson, Elvis Presley, Ricky Martin, Ray Liotta, Matt Dillon, John Heard, John Loeffler, Toby Anstis and Ron Dugay (among others) CHER will be announced on Thursday as the third occupant of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Cher will be sharing the stage with Bette Midler - who begins performances on February 20th - and Elton John's The Red Piano which could possibly be entering the final throes of its run.

A story about the coming run of Cher shows seems to have been accidentally posted before the official announcement by USA Today, which has removed the story from their website.

And you thought having Celine Dion's voice pumped into the Muzak system at Harrah's properties was annoying! You ain't seen nothing yet.

To quote the fabulous Ms. Margaret Cho... "Why don't they just name the place 'Bend Me Over And F*** Me In the A**?'"
