Note To Self: Don't Gamble at Mohegan Sun - and win - If Under Age
It really must suck to be Rodriguez Solis these days. Mr. Solis was plunking cash into a slot machine at Mohegan Sun last week when he happened to hit a $3,400 jackpot.
When casino slot matrons asked Solis for ID for the hand pay, they noticed that he was only 19 years old, two years below the legal age to gamble in Connecticut. Wah waaaah.
Not only did the casino invalidate his jackpot, but the called the cops to arrest his ass. He was released on a $250 bond and will appear in court at the end of this month. Snap!
The big question is, if they invalidated his jackpot win, shouldn't they invalidate his losses as well? Sounds like we need to make a call to Mohegan Sun on Monday to get some answers.
