Correction: Five Hundy Hacked, Hosed

Correction... the Five Hundy site did get hacked and quickly repaired. Later that day - unrelated to the hacking - the server blew up, which is why it's currently 404. In fact, the server exploded in a fantasmic display of fireworks due to the massive crunch of traffic incurred by the announcement of their second straight Trippies win for Best Podcast. Or not.

Tim says that the server is currently being repaired by the webhost and will hopefully be resurrected by this evening.

Shit happens.

As of 8:30 a.m. on 1/24/08 the site is still down.

That must have been some server meltdown to keep the site offline this long.

you're missin' your fivehundy fix?

the problem with shared hosting plans is having to share hosting. unfortunately they've got to get all 500 accounts on that server back online as well.
