Those who have been following Chuck's Macau Trip Blog probably remember how Crown Macau completely knocked my socks off.

Simply, Crown Macau is one of, if not the most beautiful, elegant and smartly designed hotel/casino joints I've had the pleasure to visit. With Crown Las Vegas recently getting plan approval, construction on the new resort - where Wet N Wild used to be - is imminent. I've got no idea whether or not Crown Las Vegas will be modeled after Crown Macau, but I'm sure there will be a number of similarities.

Due to the sheer mass of photos and observations I have about Crown Macau, the review will be broken into three chunks. Part 1, which we've just published, covers arrival and check in, right up to opening the door of the room. Part 2 will cover public areas like restaurants, spa, pool and casino, and Part 3 will be the full on room review, including the video walkthrough.

If you've got an interest in seeing what some of the fuss was about, or are curious to know what Crown Las Vegas might look like, or just get excited at looking a photos of gorgeous hotels, hop on over to MacauTripping and check out The Crown of Macau (Part 1): Macau's Killer Queen.
