More injuries at Fontainebleau Construction Site
Fox 5 Vegas is reporting that another accident has taken place at Fontainebleau construction site on the Las Vegas strip. A retaining wall came loose, knocking four workers to the ground from 30 feet up and pinning two of them beneath it.
The four workers were on top of the retaining wall as it fell three stories - essentially surfing it through the air - until it hit the ground. All of the workers were alert when they were rushed to the University Medical Center, but have sustained injuries, none of which appear to be life threatening. (Thank goodness).
This is the second accident at Fontainebleau, which follows a flurry of accidents at Cosmopolitan and CityCenter construction sites in the last few months. Two construction workers died from their injuries at the previous Fontainebleau accident.
