Vegas.com Flushes Deuce, Announces Arrow Bus

The geniuses at Vegas.com have decided to get into the transportation game by rolling out their very own casino-to-casino fleet of busses called "Arrow". Each bus will have a kiosk onboard where you can.... buy show tickets through Vegas.com!

According to the press release, the Arrow is expected to carry 2k-5k riders a day compared to the Monorail's 24.5k and the Deuce's 30.5k.

Vegas.com CEO Howard Lefkowitz had this to say:

"I don't think our expectations are unrealistic. There's plenty of room for all of us to peacefully coexist. You know, lions and zebras living together."

Point 1: Arrow? Whomever named this should be dragged behind it.
Point 2: Do we really need more vehicle traffic on the Strip?
Point 3: VegasTripping is proud to announce our own fleet of red Chevy Impala convertibles (made of Legos) that will make three stops - 'somewhere beyond Barstow at the edge of the desert', 'where the drugs begin to take hold', and lastly 'bat country.'

Comments & Discussion:

Why yes indeed it is a good thing, I guess. Depends on the price. But I disagree with the strip traffic thing because less Camrys, more mass transit is the only way to improve efficiency on Las Vegas Blvd.

Could someone please explain to me why the Duece does not have dedicated bus only lanes down the Strip? The only way to make transit a viable option is to make it faster than driving. It works in every other city...why not Vegas? (Yes, this is snarky Canadian talking, and I realise that there is a love affair with the car. However, as someone who visits two-to-three times a year, I would love take the Duece downtown/along the strip...it just takes too long!)

They will probably get their drivers from the same labor pool as the Duece. If you can use your middle finger and refuse to use your mirrors, you can drive for them. If Vegas.com updates their buses like they update their site, their fleet will be plenty "experienced" and high mileage.
