Robert Goulet, Vegas Legend, Dead at 73

Singer Robert Goulet, a headliner in Las Vegas showrooms for the past 40 years, has died.

Goulet, a legend of showrooms, theater productions and numerous recordings died early Tuesday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center while awaiting a lung transplant.

Robert Goulet had performed at nearly every top tier showroom in Las Vegas with his most recent runs taking place in the former Wayne Newton Theater at the recently demolished Stardust Hotel & Casino.

Sayonara Bob... and thank you for the smiles and joy you've brought to audiences in Las Vegas and the rest of the world for the las 40 years!
