Revel Entertainment To Unveil Architectural Renderings November 7th

Revel Entertainment, the development group on the verge of beginning construction of the first new casino on the boardwalk in Atlantic City since the Trump Taj Mahal opened in 1990, will be presenting their architectural renderings to the AC Planning Commission on November 7.

As previously reported, the property will consist of two hotel towers, a "Revel Beach", and possible reconstruction of the Garden Pier, as well as a massive casino, a spa and shopping districts.

Hidden deep within Revel's proposed agreements with the city is a clause that states the city will have to do improvements to the AC Expressway if a casino concession is granted at the Bader Field site (where Wynn Resorts has the inside track).

Meanwhile, Pinnacle Entertainment is still sitting on their plans for the newly demolished Sands Atlantic City. Pinnacle AC spokespeople told the news crews covering the implosion that they would be making announcements about the future casino resort in early 2008. We're gonna guess that Pinnacle is going to wait as long as possible, to announce anything permanent due to their objection to a potential Wynn Atlantic City at Bader Field. Pinnacle boss Dan Lee said that they would pack up their chips and leave AC if Bader Field is rezoned for a casino resort.

Exciting times in Atlantic City...
