Why Does LasVegasAdvisor.com Have A Clock On It's Homepage?

The mothership of Vegas websites, the LasVegasAdvisor.com has clock / temperature gauge on it's homepage.

Am I the only one who is baffled by this? Seriously, who cares what time it is in Las Vegas? Everybody knows that there are no clocks in Vegas, except in the casino cages, so why put one on your website? Doesn't this just straight up say to the website's visitors "Yeah, we don't get it. Y'know... the Vegas thing, at all."

Sheesh.
