The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that the historic Moulin Rouge is on the verge of rising from the ashes yet again. Developers of the historic site are in the midst of submitting documentation with the Las Vegas Planning Commission, demolishing vacant outlying structures and beginning construction.

Of course this isn't the first, second or fifteenth time that the Moulin Rouge has been the target of resurrection news. The historic Moulin Rouge Hotel Casino was the first integrated resort in Las Vegas. It's six month period of operation left an undeniable mark on Las Vegas history and legend.
