Grand Casino Tunica to Become Harrah's Casino Tunica

Harrah's Entertianment, the worlds largest operator of casinos announced today that they are going to invest $45M to rebrand and upgrade Grand Casino Tunica over the next year.
The new property, to be called Harrah's Casino Tunica, will feature a brand new buffet named after Food Networks Southern charmer Paula Deen. Also included in the upgrade will be new rooms, new beds, bars, carpeting and some other retail and dining opportunities.
Harrah's expects all of the renovations to be completed by September 2008.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Grand down in Biloxi were to get rebranded as well, either as a Caesars or a Horseshoe (With there being a Harrah's barely an hour away in NOLA, I doubt they'd have two Harrah's branded casino properties that close. In addition, the Grand name probably makes folks think that it's the Grand as in MGM Grand, which is a different company.
