Harrah's Evicts Residents of Apartment Complex Behind Imperial Palace

In a strong PR move, the Company Soon to Be Formerly Known as Harrah's has evicted residents of the Desert Club Apartments, a small complex located between the IP and Koval Lane. Residents of the apartment complex were given 30 days to pack up their shit and leave or have their belongings become part of the landfill beckons the remains of the Desert Club Apartments.

According to KLAS TV in Las Vegas, residents are pissed, and it is quite understandable, 30 days isn't much of an advance notice, particularly from a company that hasn't announced one iota of their plans for the right side of the Strip.

Conversely, apartment rating website ApartmentRatings.com has evidence (reviews from former residents) that the displaced might be better off getting the hell outta there ASAP. And we quote:

I don't know where to begin this review but maybe I'll start with the huge number of cockroaches that run around the apartment. They are just disgusting and yes, they fly too. Watch out when trying to kill one since they may flight on you like it happened to me not to mention the night that I woke up with one running on my arm!!! I jumped out of bed in disbelief.

...and then theres this...

I've lived here almost 2 years and this is by far the worst apartment complex and managed place I've ever lived in. Its gotten really bad in just the past year with the new management. I'm out of here once my lease is up.

For those keeping score at home, Harrah's bought this joint in March 2006.
