According to The Movable Buffet blog at the L.A. Times, Light, the nightclub at Bellagio, will close after Memorial day weekend. The Light Group, operators of Bare, Caramel Lounge, Fix, Yellowtail, Mist, Stack, Jet and the coming Diablos Cantina at Monte Carlo, will redesign and refurbish a new club called "The Bank". The Bank will open around New Years Eve 2007/8.

LAX the new club at LuXoR will open TONIGHT. Britney Spears will be hosting and DJ AM spinning wax. The LAX/LuXor web site calls the former Mrs. Federline "the girl everyone wants to party with." Obviously they didn't ask enough people.

Blush, the new 'boutique' nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas (where 'Lure' used to be) also opens this weekend. Blush has been completely redecorated to take advantage of its outdoor patio and elegant ceiling sculptures over a lit onyx dance floor. Jams at Blush are supplied by DJ Mighty Mi and DJ Jack Lafleur on Thursdays.

Looks like a great weekend to get your boogie or bottle service on in Vegas!

The Light Group is dumping their flag ship nightclub?? I had a great time at Light, other than the 1.5 hour wait for my table reservation.
