Jackpot: Rhode Island Slot Machine Doubles Credits On Coin In

Lucky gamblers at the Twin River Casino in Rhode Island have experienced an unexpected windfall when inserting money into a slot machine. Apparently, the machine, which was installed in May 2007, issued double the number of credits expected for amount of cash inserted into the machine.

Imagine the joy of popping in a $50 bill and getting 400 quarter credits instantly. You know you'd be cycling cash through the machine all day and night.

The faulty slot machine gave gamblers $450,115 over two months. It's shocking that it took the casino that long to notice that this specific machine was bleeding money.

Twin River Casino in RI? I'm in Ct., and , I would certainly know if there is one in RI. About a year, or two ago, RI voters voted down having a Harrah's. Are you sure it's maybe Lincoln Downs? It's a racepark with slots.
